Welcome to Kherson National Technical University (KNTU) - one of the leading higher educational institutions of the Southern Region of Ukraine.
Since its establishment in 1959, Kherson National Technical University remains the center for training of high-skilled professionals capable to generate innovative ideas and efficiently work in an increasingly diverse environment as well as a testing center for new technologies in engineering and IT sphere; chemical, textile, and food processing industries; transport systems and renewable energy.
Its 4 faculties - Faculty of Information Technology and Design; Faculty of Integrated Technologies; Engineering and Transport Faculty; Faculty of International Economic Relations, Management and Business – offer Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees in 27 specialties.
The potential of the University is provided by the highly qualified and motivated academic faculty and researchers. Digitalization, internalization and enhancing university-community partnership are the primary strategic goals. Recently, more attention has been paid to increasing the role of the University within the framework of local innovation eco-system. Supported by UNIDO in partnership with GEF, there has been set up a GCIP regional accelerator center for innovation, technology, and start-ups.
Alongside with being an accelerator for regional industrial development, the University has always been the center of active youth involvement into educational programs and community-oriented activities. Currently, a strong focus has been paid on the issues of the post-war renovation and revival, including special target groups of IDPs and the people demobilized from the Armed Forces.
The University is also active in the sphere of culture – art projects, exhibitions, art-laboratories and collaborations are implemented by the faculty and students, co-working space for young people and discussion venues for local communities are provided.
KNTU is a member of the European School of Sustainable Science and Research (ESSSR), Association the Universities of the Black Sea and Azov Sea Regions, European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA).
