Faculty of International Economic Relations was established in 1997 аt the initiative of Doctor of Engineering, Professor Kriuchkovskyi Viktor Volodymyrovych in order to prepare the qualified managers for foreign economic activity and to increase the number of professional managers specialising in export-import transactions in Ukraine and particularly in Kherson region. Our faculty is young, and therefore is opened for all new and progressive.

In 2003 the Faculty obtained the license for speciality "Translation" to prepare the translators of the English and German languages. The preference is given to humanitarian nature of teaching and educational process; therefore, a future graduate becomes an educated, high-minded person. Received at the Faculty educational level is very high and purposeful: five years study (English and German) includes computer technologies and economics.

Our students take part in many national and international conferences and workshops, take prizes at the national contests. After four years of study at the Faculty, students get the basic higher education and bachelor's degree. After one more year of study at Kherson National Technical University students get full higher education and diploma of the specialist/master in "Foreign Trade Management" or "Translation".

Education is directed to train the specialists of the following kinds of activity:

• work abroad and represent foreign firms in Ukraine;
• work as foreign trade managers, marketing;
• work as foreign markets research managers;
• work as chief executives and chiefs of foreign economic relations departments;
• work as employees of foreign economic departments in banks;
•work as interpreters, teachers and other employees at higher education institutes.

The Faculty has a wide network of bilateral ties with educational institutions both in Ukraine and abroad. In 1997 Kherson National Technical University and US Peace Corps concluded an agreement on provision of a technical assistance within the project of economic development so that the university invites American specialists: business consultants and teachers. Thanks to this agreement volunteers of the Peace Corps worked and continue to work at the faculty.

On September 1, 2014 the new Faculty of the International Economic Relations Management and Business was created, that includes today 4 Departments:
- Public Administration and Local Government
- Foreign Economic Activity
- Management and Marketing
- Theory and Practice of Branch Translation

Faculty of the International Economic Relations, Management and Business offers audiences modern computer classes and computer library, unique language laboratory, five thousand of library stock, including original literature in English and German languages on entrepreneurship, management, marketing, various electronic programs and dictionaries among which there are programs of preparation for the international TOEFL and IELIS tests. Our students participate in the international training programs of student's exchange (USA) and programs of service of the academic exchanges (Germany).

Technologies, ideologies, demands for specialities are changing, but the professional is always beyond comparison.
